The Touch pHAT for Raspberry Pi has six capacitive touch-sensitive buttons that you can use for whatever you want, or whatever your imagination can conjure up. There are even bright white LEDs for each button to make sure that your experience is a visual delight as well as a haptic one. Why not use the pHAT as a controller for your robot, a compact drum machine, or a game to test your reflexes.

The pHAT uses the CAP1166 capacitive touch and LED driver. The buttons are individually programmable and you can use a dry erase pen to mark their function as and when you need to. The LEDs are under-mounted and shine through exposed sections of the PCB to give a pleasing greeny-yellow glow and a completely smooth touch surface.

A handy one-line installer will install the Touch pHAT Python library for you. There are, as ever, a couple of examples too, to show off what you can do with Touch pHAT.
