When you have an urgent need to reveal a four-letter word to the world (be nice, now!) you can't get better than the Four Letter pHAT.

The pHAT has four 14-segment LED displays that can display text, numbers, and other characters. The stunning green LEDs hearkens back to the old bedside digital alarm clocks, with the displays being driven by the HT16K33 chip over I2C.

Perfect as a readout device for displaying temperatures, times, etc., and why not try combining with the Enviro pHAT to display its sensor values.

There is a handy one-line installer that will install the Four Letter pHAT python library, and there are some neat examples too, to show off what you can do with Four Letter pHAT; things like a clock, a countdown timer, or CPU activity monitor.
