Pimoroni PiGlow LED add-on Board Raspberry Pi

This PiGlow LED Add-On Board from Pimoroni is a small add-on board for the Raspberry Pi which provides 18 individually controllable LEDs and can be used for a host of things, such as showing current system loads or notifying you of tweets or incoming e-mail.

Equipped with a SN3218 8-bit 18-channel PWM chip to drive 18 surface mount LEDs, while communication is done via I2C over the GPIO header with a bus address of 0x54 (Python example code provided). Each LED can be set to a PWM value of between 0 and 255.

Designed to fit snugly inside a Pibow case, this versatile board can achieve an endless list of tasks via the 18 bright LEDs, consisting each of three red, orange, yellow, green, blue and white.
